About Lodging House Administration
The Population Office kindly circulates our membership forms along with the annual registration documents in November of each year. The Association relies on membership subscriptions to fund the important work it carries out for the Lodging House industry as a whole and your support is much appreciated.
The Lodging House Association is here to offer help and assistance to members and has already proved its worth in real terms, on many occasions. It continues to move forward with ideas to assist the industry and your support will help it to maintain an invaluable presence on your behalf.
The Association’s aim is to collate and discuss the views of both proprietors and residents of lodging houses, in order to achieve a consensus that, when required, can be presented to Ministers in a unified and orderly way. You should NOT miss the chance to have your voice heard effectively. There is strength in numbers; so a strong membership is imperative to be effective on your behalf.
With a yearly subscription of just £25* plus a one-off joining fee of £25 (for new / lapsed members only)
The subscription is payable by 31st January each year
The Lodging House Association feel they are offering you excellent value. Committee members give their time freely and you can make contact with them on any issue you wish to have discussed at Committee meetings. Alternatively, members are welcome to attend Committee meetings as well as the yearly AGM.
*If you have more than 10 registered rooms, the subscription is £2.50 per room, with a discount for having more than 40 rooms. See the membership application form for details and note that registered “persons” means adults + children
We would remind you that any paid-up member, with vacant rooms or flats, may place free advertisements online, as often as they wish, on this site. Just sign up from the front page and once you have submitted your membership fee, you will be sent your unique login password.
